Intuition

Intuition, going with your gut.

I’m sure everyone has experienced a situation where you have to make a decision and you either “go with your gut/heart” or you go with your brain. But what does this actually mean? For me it’s learning to actually listen to my higher self, and making sure to recognize when it is speaking to me. There have been so many times that I can recall recently that I have ignored that inner guidance, and have been hurt from it (speeding tickets, falls, emotional distress). And looking back on it now, I KNEW better. I simply chose the easier way out of things, the quicker path, really. Speeding, choosing to go down a shorter path to get to my mail box-and falling hard). Although sometimes we don’t want to take that longer or seemingly harder path, it literally doesn’t matter. Your path is predetermined and if you want to be stubborn as all hell (shots fired in my direction), you’re just going to continue to struggle until you decide to surrender to your higher self and live your life free of fear that things will not work out.

According to my guide book, “Synchronicities and so-called coincidences are powerful signs that intuition is knocking on your door. Have you heard a phrase or saying repeated by more than one person today? Do the same numbers keep showing up? These are all signals for you to pause, be open, and pay attention”.

Sometimes it can be hard to pause, be open, and pay attention, especially in the fast paced world that we live in today. If you’re like me, you’ll need some convincing. You need that key moment where you finally understand that your intuition is YOUR intuition, and always in your best interest. Once you have that moment, you are more free to let go, surrender, and walk the path that you were meant to.

I challenge you to think of a time where you have not listened to that little voice inside your head. Did something bad happen? Did you encounter a bump in the road? But more importantly, did you end up realizing later on that you were exactly where you needed to be in the end? This is the power of intuition, and the power of surrender. Listen to yourself. Know yourself.

Most importantly… it is OKAY to make mistakes, and change your mind. Change it more than once if you have to. Just trust that regardless once you let go of the control you think you have, is when you will finally be planting the seeds for your next destination.
